in Our Crown |

| The
New Jersey Gay Men’s Chorus relies on the generous support of our
patrons and friends. Without your financial support, NJGMC would not
be able to provide and maintain our quality of entertainment while
helping to make a difference in changing attitudes on gay issues in
New Jersey and beyond. We view our donors as “Jewels in our Crown”
and have designated each level of giving with a different jewel. |
In return
for a contribution, we list the names of each donor in our concert
program and on the “Sponsors” section of the website NJGMC is incorporated
in the State of New Jersey and is classified as a 501(c)(3) non-profit
organization under the Internal Revenue Code. Gifts to NJGMC qualify
as charitable donations and are tax deductible.
The NJGMC is
included in the Northern New Jersey Combined Federal Campaign (NNJ
CFC). This means that if you are a federal employee, you can contribute
to us through the NNJ CFC. Please look for us in the campaign brochure
and support us through your workplace giving program. |

| Ray
Adams Memorial Fund |
|
| The
Ray Adams Memorial Fund was officially adopted by the Chorus in the
1993-1994 season to pay tribute to one of our singing brothers who
had also been a major supporter behind the scenes. Ray’s support enabled
the Chorus to have the best representation at appearances and concerts
by making sure that anyone who wanted to sing or travel with the chorus
would be able to, whether or not they had the financial means to do
so. In response to his sudden passing, the Ray Adams Memorial Scholarship
Fund was created to carry on his legacy. The fund sponsored dues payments
and travel payments for singing members who could not otherwise afford
to sing with the Chorus, and in return, the recipient agreed to sing
for the entire season. In the 2003-2004 season, the fund was renamed
the Ray Adams Memorial Fund and has been expanded to include special
projects for the chorus while keeping its original purpose at the
core of its function. Donations made to the Ray Adams Memorial Fund
are tax deductible and will be included with any other contributions
made to the chorus to calculate your level of giving as a jewel. |

| John
Anthony “Tony” Shea Memorial Music Fund |
|
| This
memorial fund was established in June of 2008 to recognize the contribution
that Tony Shea made to the musical fabric of the New Jersey Gay Men’s
Chorus. Tony was a member of the Production Committee and served as
Music Librarian. He spent countless hours cataloging and organizing
the ever-increasing music library. The purposes of this fund are to
maintain the music library as well as to purchase or commission additional
choral works and orchestral parts. The NJGMC meant a great deal to
Tony and he would have been humbled and honored by this tribute. Donations
made to the John Anthony “Tony” Shea Memorial Music Fund are tax deductible
and will be included with any other contributions made to the chorus
to calculate your level of giving as a jewel. |

Program
Advertisements
For
each NJGMC-sponsored event, the chorus produces a beautiful keepsake
program featuring original artwork, interesting program notes, advertisements
and dedications by chorus members and friends that our concertgoers
will turn to again and again. If you have a product or service and
would like to gain exposure to a diverse community of consumers,
please consider becoming an advertiser for the 2009-2010 season,
which will include two programs – December and June. Our advertising
rates have remained the same for several years, and we offer a 20%
discount to 2008-2009 season program advertisers.
In addition
to an ad in each concert program, advertisers will also be listed
on the “Advertisers” section of the
website.

Song
Sponsorships
For each NJGMC-sponsored concert for which there is a program printed,
you will have the opportunity to sponsor a song. Song sponsors are
listed in the program notes for each song and include the song sponsor’s
name as well as any dedication text you wish. Song sponsorships are
$75 per song. Song sponsorships are tax deductible and will be included
with any other contributions made to the chorus to calculate your
level of giving as a jewel. |
