Driving Directions
Take Route 202 or 206 North to the Somerville Circle overpass. Stay to the right and take Rout 22 East. Proceed for approximately 5 miles to Bound Brook. You will pass exits for Thompson Ave. and Vosseler Ave. Take the next exit for Mountain Ave. and continue south on Mountain Ave. You will see the Presbyterian Church on the right as you approach the first traffic light. Parking lot is on left.
From Route 287 North, take the Route 22 West exit 14. After going through Greenbrook, watch for the Mountain Ave./Bound Brook exit. Head south on Mountain Ave. You will see the church on the right as you approach the first traffic light.
Enter the church building through the back parking lot door. Go to the first floor parlor.

CHURCH PARKING:
The Church has two parking lots. One is located across from the church on Watchung Ave behind Swain's Gallery. The second parking lot is located on 1st Place. To reach the second parking lot, continue on Watchung Ave past the church and make your first right at East 9th street and then make your next right onto 1st Place. The parking lot is located about halfway down the block on the right side. At the top left corner of this parking lot is a lighted walkway to the back of the church. It is not far at all. Parking is also permitted on Watchung Ave.
FROM THE GARDEN STATE PARKWAY NORTHBOUND:
Take Exit 131A "Metro Park." This takes you over the Parkway. Continue on this road (Wood Avenue) passing a Marshall's Store (on left) and turn left at light at Burger King onto Oak Tree Road. From that intersection drive 2.8 miles. Turn right at Edison Valley Playhouse (small red building). This is Woodland Avenue. Follow this for almost 3 miles, passing Plainfield Country Club and continue to the second light where you turn left onto Watchung Avenue. Stay on Watchung Avenue until you see the large stone church on your left.
FROM THE GARDEN STATE PARKWAY SOUTHBOUND:
Take Exit 140A onto Route 22 West, go 10.5 - 11 miles. You will come to an overpass that says "The Plainfields." Take a right after the overpass, then another right to go over Route 22. After you go over Route 22, at the stop sign take a left onto Somerset Street, then your next left onto Coddington Avenue. Take your first right onto Watchung Avenue and follow it through downtown Plainfield. You will come to a large intersection at East 7th street and you will see the large stone church in front of you. Bear to your left around the church.
NEW JERSEY TURNPIKE NORTHBOUND:
Take Exit 11 for the Garden State Parkway North and follow directions above for Garden State Parkway Northbound.
NEW JERSEY TURNPIKE SOUTHBOUND:
Take Exit 14 for Route 22 West and follow Route 22 West directions below.
OR
Take Exit 14 to Route 78 West and follow Route 78 West directions below.
FROM ROUTE 78 EAST OR WEST:
Take Exit 40 "Watchung." Turn onto Hillcrest Road (Route 531 South) which will dead end at the bottom of the hill. Turn right to traffic circle. On the circle bear to the left and take the 3rd right at the Getty Station and follow the road to the end. Just before the end you will see signs "To Plainfield." Turn left and go over the Overpass. At the end turn left, this is Somerset Street. Take your next left onto Coddington Avenue. Take your first right onto Watchung Avenue and follow it through downtown Plainfield. You will come to a large intersection at East 7th Street and you will see the large stone church in front of you. Bear to your left around the church.
WEST ON ROUTE 22:
You will come to an overpass that says "The Plainfields." Take a right after the overpass, then another right to go over Route 22. After you go over Route 22 and come down the ramp, you will come to a stop sign. Take a left onto Somerset Street, then your next left onto Coddington Avenue. Take your first right onto Watchung Avenue and follow it though downtown Plainfield. After you go under the railroad tracks you will come to a large intersection at East 7th Street and you will see the large stone church in front of you. Bear to your left around the church.
EAST ON ROUTE 22:
You will see a large overpass that spans across Rout 22. It will say "Watchung-Somerset Street" on the overpass. You do not take this overpass, but just after you go under the overpass you will see a sign for Watchung Avenue. Make this right turn and follow Watchung Avenue through downtown Plainfield. After you go under the railroad tracks you will come to a large intersection at East 7th Street and you will see the large stone church in front of you. Bear to your left around the church.
FROM EDISON:
Take Oak Tree Road to Park Avenue. Make a right turn on Park Avenue and go for about 3 miles. Make a right turn on East 7th Street (Scott's Drug store is on the right corner). The church is one block down on the right. Make a right turn onto Watchung Avenue.

The directions below will take you to the New Street Parking Deck, which is the recommended place to park for the concert. Walking out of the entrance of the parking deck, the church is the dark brick building located diagonally to your right. You must walk across New Street and then cross Kirkpatrick Street. Church is right on the corner of New & Kirkpatrick streets.
IMPORTANT "Commercial Street Exit is closed." There are several construction points throughout the area! These are general directions from major Highways. If you are planning on taking route 1 North you may want to take the Livingston Avenue exit off of Route 1 and bypass Highway 18 entirely (it's about 3.6 miles & 8 lights from the top of the Livingston Ave Ramp from Route 1 to New Street). Make a left onto New Street and Park in the New Street Parking Deck.
From the Garden State Parkway North
Take the Parkway North to exit 129 to the NJ Turnpike South to exit 9. Take Route 18 North towards New Brunswick, go through one light and stay straight for about 1 mile, you will go under an overpass (George Street ramp). From Route 27 North (Princeton)
Make a right onto How Lane from 27 (there is a Gulf Station on corner). How Lane to Livingston Ave. (2nd Traffic Light). Left onto Livingston. Go through 6 traffic lights---Ridgewood Ave (1), Hermann Rd (2), Nassau Street (3), Sanford St (4), Handy (5), Suydam (6), make a left onto New Street (7th light). Go Through small intersection and park in the New Street Parking Lot on the left-hand side.
From Route 27 South (Highland Park/Edison)
Take Route 27 South over the Raritan River Bridge. At the second traffic light turn left onto Neilson Street. Proceed 1 block to Church Street and turn right; at the intersection, turn left onto George Street. Go three more blocks and turn right onto Livingston Avenue. Go to light and make a right onto New Street. Park in New Street Parking deck located on the left.
From Route 130
Take Route 130 North and take bridge over Route 1. Go through light on over pass (Carolier Lane). Go three more lights and make a left onto Herman Road (Brunswick Shopping Center is on right). Stay on Herman Road to second light and make a right onto Livingston Avenue. Go 5 lights and make a left onto New Street. Church will be on right. Go through small intersection and park in the New Street Parking Deck.
From Interstate 287 North
Take Route 287 North to Route 1 South. Take Route 18 North towards New Brunswick, go through one light and stay straight for about 1 mile, you will go under an overpass (George Street ramp). Take the "New Street Exit" which is immediately to the right and which is the second overpass. (careful! This is not marked well). From Interstate 287 South
Take exit 10 and bear right onto Easton Avenue (follow street signs for New Brunswick). Stay on Easton Avenue approximately 5 miles until it comes to an end in Downtown New Brunswick. Turn left onto Albany Street, then make a right at the next traffic light onto George Street. Proceed 4 blocks and turn right onto Livingston Avenue. After you turn onto Livingston Avenue you will see the George Street Playhouse, the State Theater and the Mason Gross Building on your right side. Make the first right onto New Street. Emanuel is the small brick church on the right-hand side. Proceed through the next intersection and Park in the New Street Parking deck located on the left.

From Garden State Parkway North
- Use Exit 127 and follow signs for Interstate 287 North.
- Proceed for approximately one half mile on 287(stay on right side).
- Follow signs for County Highway Route 514 West onto Woodbridge Avenue.
- Proceed approximately two and one-half miles to the 5th traffic light.

From Garden State Parkway South
- Take Exit 130 to U.S. Highway 1 South.

From Northern New Jersey:
Take the New Jersey Turnpike south to exit 9 (New Brunswick). After the toll plaza, bear right, following the signs to 18 North to U.S. 1. You will be on Route 18 North for about one mile. Watch for the second U.S. 1 sign. Take the exit to U.S. 1 South towards Trenton. Proceed on U.S. 1 South for approximately 20 miles to Princeton. Turn right onto Washington Road. Follow Washington Road to the fourth traffic light and turn left onto Nassau Street. Pass by the Witherspoon St. light and the church will be on your left, opposite Palmer Square.
From Southern New Jersey:
Take I-295 North. It will eventually connect with I-95. Take exit 7 for Route 206 North towards Lawrenceville/Princeton. When you reach Princeton, bear right onto Nassau Street (Route 27 North). (Do not turn left to continue on 206 North.) Pass by the light at University Place and the church will be on your right, opposite Palmer Square.
From Northwestern New Jersey:
Take Route 206 South to Princeton. When you reach Princeton, turn left onto Nassau Street (Route 27 North). (Do not turn right to continue on 206 South.) Pass by the light at University Place and the church will be on your right, opposite Palmer Square.
From Pennsylvania:
Take the Pennsylvania Turnpike to exit 28 (Philadelphia). Take Route 1 North to I-95. Take I-95 North into New Jersey. Take exit 7 for Route 206 North towards Lawrenceville/Princeton. When you reach Princeton, bear right onto Nassau Street (Route 27 North). (Do not turn left to continue on 206 North.) Pass by the light at University Place and the church will be on your right, opposite Palmer Square.
Parking:
Finding parking in Princeton can be difficult. On Monday nights the church parking lot is reserved for church meetings and the like. Please park on the street or in any of several lots / garages in the vicinity.

- On Route 29 North, go past Trenton, past the Route 95 exits, to the next light (about 8 miles in all.) At the light turn right onto Route 546 East.
- It's about a mile to church from the intersection. At the first light, go straight, then slow down and watch for a yellow Intersection sign. Make the first right after the sign, then a quick left into the church parking lot. Hopewell Municipal Building or Scotch Rd intersection: too far.
Route 1/Route 95 South:
- Go through Princeton. After the Mercer Mall on the right and the Quaker Bridge Mall on the left, get into the right lane and take the Route 95 South exit (Pennsylvania).
- Then take Exit 3 (Scotch Road), stay right through the Yield sign, turn left at the third light onto Route 546 West.
- It's about 1/2 mile to church. Pass the Hopewell Municipal Building, cross the creek bridge, then slow down for our large white sign on the left. Turn left after the sign, then a quick left into the church parking lot. The next traffic light at the yellow historical house is too far.
Route 31 South:
- At the Pennington Circle, take the first right (Route 546 West).
- At the light at Scotch Road, go straight.

- Go 3-5 miles to Lambertville. Go straight at the light in Lambertville, go past the Lambertville Flea Market, and go straight at the light in Titusville (about 6 miles in all.)
- At the next light turn left (Washington Crossing, Route 546 East).
- It's about a mile to church from the intersection. At the first light, go straight, then slow down and watch for a yellow Intersection sign. Make the first right after the sign, then a quick left into the church parking lot. Hopewell Municipal Building or Scotch Rd intersection: too far.
Route 206 North:
- Stay to the left (stay on Route 206) where Route 1 branches off towards Princeton.
- Follow Route 206 (now Broad Street) past the Independence Mall; then stay in the left lane for the Route 29 exit (connecting street is Lalor Street; at the "T" at the end of Lalor turn right onto Route 29 North).
- Go past Trenton, past the Route 95 exits for Pennsylvania and New York, to the next light (about 8 miles in all.) At that light turn right onto Route 546 East.
- It's about a mile to church from the intersection. At the first light, go straight, then slow down and watch for a yellow Intersection sign. Make the first right after the sign, then a quick left into the church parking lot. Hopewell Municipal Building or Scotch Rd intersection: too far.
Route 532 East:
- Follow Route 532 to its end at Washington Crossing State Park. Cross the bridge over the Delaware River. Go straight at the light (Route 546 East).
